New Made-for-Wales Digital Resources website now live

Following a period of intense development, we are delighted to announce the launch of our new to support our new Made-for-Wales qualifications.

This new bilingual website has been developed by our Digital Resources Team, based on feedback gathered from teachers and learners from across Wales.

The intuitive platform includes several new features to enhance the user experience, commenting on this exciting development, Melanie Blount, Assistant Director:

“At ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ, we have an established tradition of producing high-quality, bilingual resources to support our qualifications. With the launch of our new Made-for-Wales qualifications, we are continuing with this approach, which is complemented with our new website.

'This exciting new platform features improved navigation and enhanced search functionality, allowing visitors access to relevant resources with ease. Furthermore, we have introduced a personalised dashboard, which enables teachers and lecturers to tailor our resources, according to the needs of their classroom. These can easily be shared, which will enhance both classroom teaching and home learning.â€

The new website can be accessed .

Website designed with users in mind

The new website has been designed to enhance the user experience; key features include:

  • Improved search functionality, where resources can be searched according to level, subject and specification, saving time.

  • Teachers and lecturers will now have access to a personal online resource page where they can access their favourited, edited, or saved resources. This user-friendly dashboard allows for a learner-centred approach, tailoring teaching to each learner and creating a dynamic and engaging environment for personalised learning. Furthermore, this can be accessed using their existing Hwb login details.

  • Each tailored resource will have a unique URL facilitating sharing and home learning. By offering these new and unique functionalities, our Made-for-Wales resources offer teachers and lecturers the opportunity to create personalised, engaging, and inclusive learning experiences, whilst ensuring that the appropriate level of support is offered.

Comprehensive support package

The new website is part of a £1.5million investment made by ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ, who has committed to produce 280 packages of digital resources to support the new qualifications. Each package will consist of blended learning resources and knowledge organisers. Publication of these innovative resources began in October, and the full suite will be available by August 2025.

Each resource will be designed to support the ethos of the Curriculum for Wales, by enabling users to edit the resources and tailor according to their local area. This will allow teachers to create a bespoke package of resources which will support a wide breadth of teaching approaches. Further information of the resources, including the publication schedule is available here.

To further support teachers and lecturers, our team will publish a series of video tutorials, to ensure each user can fully realise the potential of each resource. In addition, drop-in sessions will also be delivered, to provide opportunities to ask questions to our Digital Resources Team. Further information on these will be announced shortly.

Working in partnership with Adnodd

To further complement this comprehensive package, ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ is working alongside Adnodd to produce additional support materials. Adnodd has committed £500,000 to produce additional materials, to further enhance the delivery of these exciting qualifications.

Commenting on this partnership, Emyr George, Adnodd’s Chief Executive said:

“We’re excited to be working with ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ to commission this substantial package of bilingual teaching and learning materials. These resources will be easy to find, help reduce workload and help learners get the most from the all-new GCSEs designed specifically to support the Curriculum for Wales.

‘Adnodd’s investment will ensure that resources will be available for every subject before September 2025, when learners are due to begin studying for these new GCSEs.â€

These new resources will be available via the new website, offering a one-stop-shop for resources to support the delivery of our Made-for-Wales qualifications.
