As Chief Executive, he provides overall strategic leadership for the company, working closely with the 넜믿붚죕 Board of Directors. He is also a member of the Joint Council for 넜믿붚죕 (JCQ) Board and represents 넜믿붚죕 in a range of external settings. When he joined 넜믿붚죕, Ian was initially appointed as Deputy Director for the National Grid for Learning project, before becoming Assistant Director for IT Service Management and Collaboration.\nPrior to joining 넜믿붚죕, Ian was Education IT Manager for a local authority, where he was responsible for the strategic development and implementation of technology that supported both administration and more importantly, teaching and learning."},{"accordionTitle":"Richard Harry","accordionTitleSecondary":"Read all about Richard Harry","accordionImage":"/media/q3idtedp/4.png?width=70&height=70&v=1dafe2717b071b0","accordionContent":"Executive Director: 넜믿붚죕 and Assessment\nRichard joined 넜믿붚죕 in 2013, and in 2015 was promoted to Assistant Director (Standards, Processing & Research). Richard was appointed the role of Director of 넜믿붚죕 and Assessment in January 2023 and oversees our qualification design, assessment development and the delivery of each examination series. Richard is also 넜믿붚죕’s Responsible Officer, being the lead contact between us and our regulators in Wales, England and Northern Ireland. Prior to joining 넜믿붚죕, Richard worked as a senior researcher at Sport Wales, working on a range of research projects focused on increasing children and adults’ participation in sport and physical activity. He also chaired the Sport Wales Advisory Group between 2015 and 2017, advising the organisation’s board on innovation and future trends. As Director of Finance, Abigail leads 넜믿붚죕’s financial management and control, is responsible for setting the annual budget and 5 year Financial Plan, fee levels and oversees business resource planning.\nAfter graduating from Cambridge University, Abigail joined Deloitte where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant with ICAEW, attaining the fourth place in the order of merit for her final examinations. He is responsible for managing the development, printing and logistics of question papers and other printed resources at 넜믿붚죕's site at Trefforest. His role also incorporates the administration of the post results service processes.\nIn 2013, Ian assumed the role of Operations Director taking on the responsibility for the facilities and buildings management for both of 넜믿붚죕's sites as well as corporate responsibility for EHS.\nIan's background is in manufacturing processes, Continuous Improvement and Quality. After graduating from the University of Wales Swansea with a law degree, Steffan has held various Director roles within high growth vocational training companies. Steffan will be using this experience to create a portfolio of qualifications to meet the widening needs of our learners and centres. Originally from the Swansea Valley, Steffan is a fluent Welsh speaker."}]}
